The story of a dedicated Hanson fan:
I have been a Hanson fan for a little over 4 years now. Back in 97' I was listening to the radio. I was 12 years old, and it became my favorite song. Little did I know that I would need that song, anf many other Hanson songs to help me through. When I entered 7th grade that year, I was like I am now, overweight. I had little to no friends, and I felt like my world was crashing down. I never had anyone to talk to. I couldn;t realate to anyone, and all of my friends were getting boyfriends, and there I was a girl that a guy wouldn't glimpse at. Sure I tlked to my mom, but I didn't feel right putting everything on her. I would come home crying everyday, because I was either in the head with books, spit on, I had food throen in my face, and I had no outlet for my feelings. I then turned to music. Eventually, I was put into therapy, and I was hospitalized once for major depression, but music was the only thing that would actually get through to me. Hanson's music was there for me. I could go to it anytime, and here comforting words, and voices, telling me that "They would come to me" or how "wierd" I felt alot of times. I felt like I knew Hanson, and that we were clode friends, because they started getting negative feedback, and things like that. Then when "This Time Around" came out, the first single "This Time Around" told me to be stronger, and fight for what I believed in, or what I needed. They were saying how, you know "You can't say I didn't give, I won't wait another minute," and to me, those are deep words. That people may say that you no-good, and that you didn't try hard enough, and then your saying that nobody can take away what you have worked for, or that you didn't fight to be where you are at. AS long as, you know it, it will be alright, because you know that you will survive. ANd "I won't go down," like nobody can say anything to bring me down, I have come this far, and I am not gonna give up on it yet, because I still have a long ways to go. Thank You Hanson. I will always support you, and love you, until the end of time.

Because, They are down to earth. Caring. Cuties(hehehe!) Because each one of them is an individual person. They are a talented band. And They seem to care for music, and their fans.
